Each material has unique requirements — laminate needs clean saw cuts and moisture-sealed edges, butcher block requires expansion gaps and proper oiling, and quartz demands diamond-polished seams and calibrated support spans.
Sink and cooktop cutouts are where many countertop installations fall short. We use plunge routers and diamond-blade saws to create clean, chip-free openings with radiused corners that prevent stress cracks. Every cutout edge is sealed or polished to protect against moisture infiltration.
For L-shaped and U-shaped kitchens, seam placement is critical to both appearance and structural integrity. We position seams at the least conspicuous point and use color-matched adhesives and mechanical fasteners underneath to create a joint that is virtually invisible and completely rigid.
